The metal roof has gained popularity recently as many people see that the old days of cheap corrugated metal are long gone. With a metal roof there are numerous choices when it comes to material. You have the option of tin, lead, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, zinc or steel. Metal roofs today have a protective coating applied to prolong their life. These coatings typically include a ceramic, epoxy, acrylic or waterproofing to help resist rust or sun damage.
